Depression. Stigma. Shame. Misery. If you suffer with depression you know the stigma, shame, and misery depression causes in your life. To often those feelings lead you to hate your depression and try to fight it. Truth is, there is no fighting depression.
Yes you can take medications to help balance it out, but to do battle with it is a losing cause. That’s why I’ve chosen to OBLIGE my depression. Let it have it’s way with me. Now that doesn’t mean I roll over and give up. Instead I embrace it when it shows up and trust I have what it takes to make it through and out the other side.
