255: The Uncloseted Voice – Grant Baldwin

We’ve all heard it. “You got a voice, so use it!” or “There’s a story within each of us!” Or as Oprah would say, “Speaking your truth is the most powerful tool we all have!” Yet, for many of us, speaking, especially public speaking, scares the crap out of us. We’re afraid we’re not good enough, or that we don’t have something that will interest people, or even worse, that even when we do speak, it will come out all wrong. That’s all your own bullshit so get over it. It’s time to own your voice and speak…maybe even as a career.

Today’s guest, is a bald guy who lives with a house full of women and still somehow manages to have a voice…no disregard for women, or the women in his life. Truth is, the once upon a time Youth pastor realized his mouth, his voice, and his message were the doorway to his destiny. Now he’s a highly successful speaker, and creator of TheSpeakerLab.com, Booked and Paid To Speak training program and host of the highly popular podcast, The Speaker Lab. This guy’s got speaker Mojo and can teach us all a thing or two about using our voices, even if you don’t want to be a professional speaker.
