What would our world be like if we all operated from that perspective without all the other bullshit? Simply stated, kindness rocks. So why don’t we practice it more often, even in the subtlest ways of living? Do we forget to be human and see others as humans? Yes, and yes! So what can be done about it?
First and foremost, stop making assumptions about others. Try to seem then through the lens of radical kindness and attempt to understand them. Doesn’t mean you have to agree with them, or embrace their opinion, simply means showing them radical kindness.
Attorney, speaker, and author Rocco Cozza is going to help us explore what radical kindness looks like. And don’t pre-judge him just because he’s an attorney, that wouldn’t be kind. Rocco is the founder of the Law Office of Rocco E. Cozza. He has practiced law since 2003. During this time, he has advised businesses and business owners on appropriate entity formations, contract drafting, commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, employment matters, HR policy creation, intellectual property matters, as well as provided general business consulting and litigation services in various industries. He also advises technology start-ups on funding matters and spent 13 years as General Counsel of an international Information Technology firm
Rocco also represents entertainers, athletes, artists, and musicians in all aspects of their career and acts as their business manager through his affiliated entity, The Cozza Company. In this role, he provides advice and counsel to help his clients find revenue generating opportunities that our in-line with their personal brand.
In addition to his work as an attorney and manager, Rocco is a sought after business coach, best-selling author and speaker. He works with entrepreneurs and business owners to help them perform at the highest levels both in business and in life. He is a certified life strategies, results, and brain fitness coach. In his work, Rocco takes a holistic approach to coaching focusing on internal, as well as external factors in a person’s life. Further, he conducts organizational development workshops to help companies tell their story to attract customers to their brand.
He recently published his book “The A.L.P.H.A. Way: 5 Keys to Unlocking Your Greatness and Living Your Best Life” and it became a best-seller. As a speaker, Rocco frequently speaks to high school and college students on leadership, entrepreneurship, and personal development. He recently gave a TEDx talk titled “Radical Kindness: Why the Unbillable Hour Matters Most in Business.”
In addition to his professional career, Rocco serves of the board of directors of Alpha House, a drug rehabilitation center in the Pittsburgh Area, and provides counsel to other local non-profit organizations.
Lastly and most important, Mr. Cozza is married to his wonderful wife Laura, a health coach and personal trainer, and has 3 wonderful children, Gabe (17), Ellie (9), and Malina (5).
