WRITING

Bold actions, require bold words.

IT'S SIMPLE

Discover 10 reasons you’re not making your bold move

My Bold Books & Blogs!

Words fascinate me. They always have.

I started writing my rebellious thoughts before I even new how to write the word "Rebellious." Ok, that's not exactly true but I can't think of a time when writing wasn't a part of my life.

Sometimes it's just random thoughts, other times it shit I want to say to stir things up, get people to think, and every once in a while just to let off some steam. What I know is writing is as much a part of me as is being a Dad, Husband, Speaker, Podcaster, and bold move maker.

It's simply part of me that helps me connect with the part of a person who prefers the written word to the visual medium, or auditory storyteller.

In other words...writing is just another way I make my big bold moves

The Reviews

“This book breathes new life into every gay mans journey to self acceptance, love and the difficult, yet liberating, process of “Coming Out.” Rick does an excellent job of mixing his personal experiences with humor to tell an honest and candid story that anyone coming out can appreciate. This book is a must read for anyone who is questioning their sexuality or for friends of anyone who has recently come out.”

David Cruz, III Founder of Finding-Cupid.com and Matchmaker on Bravo TV’s The Millionaire Matchmaker”

It takes courage to practice radical transparency, especially when sharing the awkward and often painful coming-of-age experiences that can pave the way to coming out. Rick’s authentic, sweet and comedic voice makes it safe to walk with him through the messy parts of his life and inspires you to celebrate when he discovers his path to self-acceptance and love. Easily relatable and full of heart, “Frankly my dear I’m gay” is a fun read for anyone who’s been there and great companion guide for those who are ready Come Out to play.

Frankly My Dear I’m Gay is a heartfelt, and witty look at a controversial topic – coming out late after living in a traditionally heterosexual marriage. This is a rare find in a book where the story of the journey is shared, accompanied by practical tools for navigating the transformation from who you’ve thought you’ve always been to who you’ve always been in your sexual energy. Spoken from the heart with directness, care, love and humor, Clemons provides an arms wide open approach to help those struggling with living their sexual truth.

Rick Clemons was a great addition to our College Kick-off event as a guest speaker. His keynote presentation (“Make your Quirk Work”) was rated by our student audience members as “very good to excellent.” The material truly resonated with our theme for the year and the day. In his very lively session, Rick gave our students clear tips – and most importantly, actionable suggestions — on how to implement these valuable strategies.
