Stop Dating The Same Guy In A Different Body

YOU KEEP ENDING UP IN THE SAME RELATIONSHIP.

Different guy. Different face. Different circumstances.

Somehow, the dynamic starts feeling strangely familiar.

And sooner or later, so does the ending.

That is probably not just bad luck. There is a pattern underneath it.

Join Rick Clemons for a free, live 60-minute Bold Move Live session for gay men over 40 who are tired of wondering why their relationships keep ending up in the same place.

What If You Could See It Before
You Were 6 Months Into It?

Think about the last three men you were seriously drawn to.

Not the guys you talked to for three days. The ones you really wanted. The ones you invested in.

What did they have in common?

Maybe the men themselves looked completely different on paper. But somewhere along the way, the relationship started creating the same feeling, the same frustration, the same role you always seem to end up playing—or the same ending you promised yourself you would never repeat.

Usually, you can see it clearly afterward.

The question is whether you can learn to see it while it is happening.

Because the goal is not to become cynical, guarded or hypervigilant every time you meet someone new. The goal is to understand your own pattern well enough that attraction no longer gets the final vote before the rest of you has caught up.

Imagine recognizing at date three what you used to discover in month eight.

That changes things.

The Guy May Change.
The Pattern Doesn’t Automatically Change With Him.

After almost 20 years of coaching gay men, I have seen this again and again.

We naturally focus on the other guy.

He was unavailable. He would not communicate. He could not commit.
He wanted too much. He gave too little. He said one thing and did another.

And sometimes all of that is true.

But if the face keeps changing and the relationship keeps taking you back to the same place, eventually you have to get curious about the one person who has been present in every relationship.

You.

Not so you can blame yourself.

So you can finally have some power over what happens next.

Because the pattern is rarely random. There is usually something underneath it, and very often the thing creating frustration in your dating life has also been trying to protect you in some way.

Until you understand that, changing men does not necessarily change the pattern.

Knowing Better and Choosing Differently
Are Not the Same Thing

Maybe you have already done therapy.

Maybe you can explain your childhood, your attachment style,
your exes and every red flag you ignored.

Maybe your friends have told you for years that you keep dating the same kind of man.

Awareness matters.

But you can know exactly what you do and still find yourself doing it again.

That is why this is not a lecture about dating smarter or a list of red flags to memorize. We are going to look at your actual pattern: how it shows up, what keeps it running and what you need to notice sooner so you can interrupt it before it becomes another year of your life.

In 60 Minutes, We Are Going to Get Specific

This is not a generic dating seminar where I tell a room full of gay men to
communicate better and love themselves more.

You are going to look at your own history.

Together, we will:

Identify the pattern you have actually been running.
Not some vague personality label. We are looking for your thing.

Explore what the pattern may be protecting.
Because this is almost never just about finding the wrong men.

Find the point where you can interrupt it earlier.
The goal is not to make the pattern magically disappear in an hour. It is to stop being eight months into something before you finally recognize what has been happening all along.

You will leave with something specific to look for and a different question to ask yourself the next time attraction starts pulling you toward familiar territory.

YES. I WANT TO SEE MY PATTERN.

This Isn’t About Becoming Better at Dating Apps

I am not going to teach you how to optimize your profile.

I am not giving you opening lines.

We are not spending an hour complaining about gay dating.

And this is not therapy.

Bold Move Live is about getting honest enough to see what is actually
happening in your life and doing something useful with what you see.

You do not need more information about relationships.

You need to recognize the moment when your pattern begins.

You're Probably In The Right Room If...

You are a gay man over 40 and you keep finding yourself attracted
to different versions of the same dynamic.

You are single and genuinely cannot understand why
relationships keep going sideways in familiar ways.

You know something is happening in how you choose, attach, respond or stay,
but you cannot quite name it.

You are willing to look honestly at your own part without
turning that honesty into self-blame.

And you are more interested in changing something than spending
another year complaining about the state of gay dating.

If what you want is a list of dating hacks or someone to tell you every
ex was the problem, this probably is not your room.

Why Rick?

Rick Clemons has been helping gay men get out of their own way since 2009.

His work is direct because your time matters. The goal is not to keep you endlessly analyzing your life.
It is to help you recognize where you are negotiating with yourself, tell yourself the truth,
and make a move.

No performance. No pretending you have it all figured out because you are over 40.

Bring the relationship history you actually have.

We will start there.
